Information Security IAM Lead - Remote

Position Summary
The Information Security Lead, IAM will provide operational support around the Identity and Access services. This technical expert will focus on ensuring the operation, administration and maintenance of the Identity and Access Management services. In this role, you will also be responsible for incident, change, and problem management and act as an operational domain expert in Access Provisioning/Maintenance, Access Recertification & Role Management, supporting infrastructure and compliance controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and implement the approved IAM strategy in order to establish the governance and operational models required to appropriately standardize our identity and access controls through automation and integration of disparate systems.
- Experience designing and implementing roles management framework. Well-versed in RBAC and Access Governance solutions
- Deep understanding of IAM business processes.
- Experience with IAM User Provisioning platforms - Ideally SailPoint IdentityIQ.
- Administer, operate, manage, execute and govern the Identity & Access Management (IAM) process and tools for Access, Recertification and Role Management.
- Ensure IAM processes are designed and implemented in order to provide effective support for audit, regulatory compliance and security requirements and industry best practices.
- Deliver support during audits, including delivering requested evidence related to IAM related activities and their recertification.
- Ensure availability, operation, administration and maintenance of the User Access, Access Recertification and Role Management tools, process, supporting infrastructure and compliance controls.
- Analyze, design, implement and plan maintenance activities for IAM changes as requested by the service owners.
- Drive continuous service improvement in the IAM services including communication to our customers.
Skills, Abilities, Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or other relevant field; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- A minimum of 3 years professional work experience in Identity and Access Management environment is required.
- Knowledge and experience of Identity and Access Management with multi-platform support (eg Windows, Unix/Linux, SQL Server, Oracle, etc.) is required.
- Strong customer service and impact/risk assessment skills required.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization, both technical and non-technical
Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands
- Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
- Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach on a daily basis
- Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment
- As work needs dictate, ability to work 40 hours per week from the Company’s Houston, Texas corporate office with flexibility to work additional hours based on project needs
- Travel – up to 15% (including overnight travel) will be required; therefore, must be flexible to travel with short notice
- Able to lift and move up to 10 pounds occasionally
