Position Summary:
The Loss Prevention Coordinator supports the safety and security related efforts for the Oak Pak Campus and is a critical role in the daily operation of the Loss Prevention Department. The Loss Prevention Coordinator achieves this by controlling access to all Tailored Brands buildings and properties within assigned areas. The Loss Prevention Coordinator will be responsible for identifying and preventing losses through theft, pilferage and vandalism utilizing the Closed Circuit Television System and walk-throughs. The Loss Prevention Coordinator will also assist with supporting store line requests regarding Loss Prevention systems or issues. The Loss Prevention Coordinator partners with the Manager of Field and Loss Prevention Analytics and the Vice President of Risk Management on various task as they arise.
Key Accountabilities:
• Control access to property, screening all incoming and outgoing traffic, ensuring only authorized personnel gain access to Tailored Brands facilities.
• Respond to emergency situations and assist in the evacuation of facilities.
• Conduct walk-throughs in specified areas, identify deficiencies, vulnerabilities or safety violations, and develop and implement corrective actions.
• Respond to all suspicious/unauthorized individuals in Tailored Brands facilities.
• Documents all incidents, complete daily reports and visitor logs for each shift.
• Provide escort to associates upon request.
• Create, delete and modify store alarm codes and call list as requested.
• Assist with creating work orders for Loss Prevention equipment.
• Complete administrative tasks as assigned.
Skills, Abilities, Experience & Qualifications
• High School Diploma required
• 2+ years of loss prevention or customer service experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proven ability to identify, distinguish and analyze components of problems, making logical and effective conclusions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Must be able to work rotating shifts, to include evenings/nights/weekends, when assigned.
• Ability to manage conflict to successful resolutions
• Houston, Texas area resident
• Authorized to work for any employer in the United States
• Ability to pass a thorough background check
Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands
• Ability to conduct numerous foot patrols throughout the campus
• Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach on a daily basis
• Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally
• Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment
• Hours occasionally exceed 40 hours per week and also accessible occasional nights, and weekends.
• Will require travel between Our Oak Park Offices and local Distribution Centers
