The Associate Email Operations Manager will be responsible for providing day to day production & tactical support for all email marketing campaigns. He/She will oversee the email production process and communication with both internal stakeholders and external partners to seamlessly execute email marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will have relative email operations and/or project management experience.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Manage email production process, receiving and trafficking requests, assigning production resources, organizing production assets, and providing real-time direction to digital and production team members. 
  • Maintain production calendar for complete view of the workload across all brands
  • Coordinate A/B testing requests and requirements in partnership with business leads
  • Oversee Email template updates and maintain master template documents with internal and external partners
  • Complete campaign and/or business requirements documents which may include targeting and audience segmentation, testing, and tracking metrics
  • Own testing/QA process including validation of tracking links, routing for partner approvals, managing feedback and providing final approval for deployment.
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders across all stages of campaign development from planning to deployment
  • Support weekly reporting deliverables
  • Escalate issues impacting production cycle dependencies and deadlines.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience

• 1-2+ years email production experience and proficient knowledge of HTML, Excel, email design.

• Direct experience with enterprise-level Email Service Provider and CRM platforms a must (Experian/Cheetahmail, Salesforce Marketing Cloud/Exact Target a plus).
• Resourceful problem-solver who quickly gathers and is comfortable new technologies and concepts.
• Strong understanding of email, mobile and social best practices, including tools, technology, and KPIs
• Working knowledge of regulatory requirements as they relate to direct marketing and customer management programs (e.g., privacy regulations, CAN-SPAM Act, data management, etc.).
• Ability to thrive and meet aggressive goals and timelines in fast paced environment and to easily adapt to change.
• Highly motivated and capable of managing and prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously.
