Tailored Brands currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Product Manager capable of working closely across multiple engineering disciplines to lead our Product development of building the best omni-channel experience for our customers from concept through market release and on.  This person has product management experience, deep understanding of customer’s needs, the product and competitive landscape, and experience in agile methodologies are essential skills to the successful development of requirements and products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead in all phases of the product lifecycle, from concept to launch and integration.
  • Responsible to develop a product strategy and product roadmap in support of enterprise goals and objectives.
  • Work with multiple cross functional teams to build and evaluate business cases to support product investment.
  • Manage Product Roadmap, Priorities and Product Release schedule by coordinating with all stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Business, UX and engineering teams during product discovery to evaluate the usability, benefits, feasibility, and efforts involved in building the product features and enhancements.
  • Work closely with leadership team to understand and define product capabilities and be able to clearly articulate them to all levels of the organization.
  • Initiate and manage idea generation, gap identification, financial attractiveness, feature prioritization, and feature definition for products.
  • Adapt customer specific requests to meet the larger community model needs.
  • Engage with engineering team and project management during implementation to answer any questions about the features and any scope tradeoff decisions.
  • Coordinate UAT cycle and post launch activities to validate the product feature works as expected.
  • Responsible to define and track key product metrics.

Skills, Abilities, Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related fields
  • 5+ years of experience product management
  • Candidate must be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Retail Ecommerce/Mobile applications
  • Experience with:
    • Product Management for Responsive Web based products/applications across omnicommerce
    • Product Management of iOS application 
    • Agile development methodology
    • Project Management Software
  • Strong communication and presentation skills are needed with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences (Marketing, Stores, Customer Services) as well as translate customer and market data into technical requirement documents.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment to deliver results.
  • Be detail oriented with excellent problem-solving skills

Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands

  • Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach on a daily basis
  • Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally
  • Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment
  • Hours regularly exceed 40 hours per week
