The Future Of Retail

As someone who already works in retail or is considering joining the industry, you know that the retail landscape is changing dramatically. Retail trends force us to evolve, but they also provide opportunity. And it is seizing that opportunity that is allowing us to grow and succeed.

Simply put, we prefer to lead–not follow.

We are more than just a fashion company. We are a product innovation company–disrupting the industry and exciting our customers. We are a data company–unlocking the power of the data to offer personalized experiences that resonate with each customer. We are a hospitality company–creating lasting relationships with our customers. We are providing more custom options and fits than ever before to make sure he loves how he looks in our clothes.

We have a clear strategy to win and are focused on these imperatives across our brands. If these things excite you, we want you on our team.

Values-Led Company Culture

Our work is guided by four core values: Lead with the customer, Inspire the change, Own it together, and Nurture the community – or “LION” for short.

Across Tailored Brands, we start every conversation by asking, “What does the customer want?” We play to win, achieving breakthrough growth with our curiosity, innovation and smart risk-taking. We believe that how we work together matters, and that respect, trust and inclusivity are performance multipliers.

We are committed to social responsibility and environmental stewardship throughout our company. We believe in giving back to the communities we serve and the people that support us. Simply put, we know that we can do well, by doing good.

At the center of our extraordinary culture is our fun, family-like atmosphere that makes our company a great place to work.

If our values resonate with you, you’ll fit in just fine.

Tailoring a Sustainable Future

Learn more about our most recent sustainability and giving efforts in our new Sustainability Report. Thanks to the joint efforts of our employees and company, we helped nurture our community with over $27 million in product and cash donations throughout 2017. Additionally, through our ‘Willie Lopez Fund’ employees helped 350 other fellow employees impacted by hurricanes, floods and fires ensuring they had emergency shelter, food and cash.

Training & Advancement

A cornerstone of our company’s success is our commitment to promote employee growth through extensive and ongoing training programs. Our training seeks to emphasize personal and career development, employee empowerment, and building quality relationships with colleagues and customers. We incorporate a multifaceted approach to training that includes comprehensive on-boarding programs coupled with a series of continuing-education offerings.

At our stores, offices and DCs, one of our newest programs is Peer Circles that give employees the opportunity to collaborate and shape key initiatives across our company working with cross-functional teams. Development Circles are designed to attract, develop and retain internal talent at various levels of experience with high potential for greater contribution across Tailored Brands. Participants engage in formal training and development webinars, learn about our shared services and branded business functions, and develop valuable networking resources enhancing a sense of community across Tailored Brands. We encourage personal and professional growth and your manager also can help you customize your plan for individual development through programs and offerings in our course catalog.

In our stores, employees have the opportunity to continuously learn and improve to move up to their desired role. New training programs range from hands-on in-store training, to on-demand videos and instructor-led webinars. Our “Management Essentials Training” (MET) program consists of 10 live webinars delivered over a six month period for all newly-promoted managers and store employees nominated by their multi-unit manager.

Our history of internal promotion is a key component of our company culture and has been an indispensable factor in our outstanding success. We only want people in supervisory positions that are intimately familiar with, and practice our servant-leader philosophy. Fast track growth opportunities reward high-performing employees that excel in our employee-centric environment.
