About the Job

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Director, Technology Marketing & Customer Data Platform (CDP) to join our Supply Chain and Data Engineering team.  This high visibility position will work along-side Marketing, Strategy and Analytics, and various business leaders to provide support to Marketing and Enterprise wide BI/Data needs, and lead the Customer Data platform, Marketing technologies, Data Governance, Data Management and Business Intelligence.

What You’ll Do | Key Accountabilities

  • Build and manage the Customer Data platform, Customer 360, Marketing technologies
  • Partner with Marketing Leadership team to enable Marketing solutions which will help drive traffic to our stores and digital channels.
  • Sets strategy for digital martech by identifying business needs and aligning them with the technical products
  • Identify and champion internal / external best practices, tools, and ideas to drive constant growth and innovation within the Marketing Technology space
  • Conducts RFP’s and selects the tools/products which enable digital marketing
  • Implements the technology roadmap
  • Lead cross-functional teams, and provide the technical perspective to Marketing initiatives, and support problem scoping and structuring
  • Champion Agile development within the team to improve operational process and increase the velocity of the team
  • Lead application development in the team and support vendor identification, evaluation, and selection to staff project delivery roles that meet delivery standards across quality, throughput, and budgetary return on investment goals from both internal and external teams
  • Serve as an escalation point for roadblocks slowing down or impeding delivery objectives
  • Provide direction, coaching, and set goals for career growth and development of associates within the team
  • Manage project financials, budget forecasts, and staffing plans across the team
  • Responsible for delivering a single source of Customer master
  • Manage the roadmap, schedule and features of the CDP/Customer360/Marketing platform to enable Tailored Brands adopt to modern marketing techniques.
  • Setting up regular cadence with C- Level Executives to provide status updates on customer and marketing initiatives
  • Lead Data governance team to effectively manage Customer data by establishing efficient practices to allow for enterprise accountability.
  • Software and Consulting vendor management
  • Work with business partners on prioritizing the work streams and establish repeatable framework.
  • Able to manage multimillion dollar and multiyear IT programs.
  • Mentor the teams and empower them to be successful.
  • Manage multiple IT teams across different global locations.

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or greater in Computer Science or related field.
  • 10+ years building and leading high-performing technology teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills with both technical and business partners.
  • Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Current on best practices for emerging trends in CDP and Marketing technologies
  • Must have thorough understanding on Campaign life cycles and should have extensively managed solutions for digital campaign management
  • Must have worked on a Customer Data Platform or Customer 360
  • Should have implemented a marketing platform before.
  • Experience in dealing multiyear multimillion-dollar programs with multiple vendors
  • People management is a must
  • High intellectual curiosity and work ethic

Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands

  • Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach daily
  • Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally
  • Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment
  • Hours regularly 40 hours per week, as work dictates, from a hybrid office location near our Fremont, CA Corporate Office
